Who We Are

A school shaped by research, embodiment, and animated forms.

We are an independent project dedicated to training and research in the therapeutic dimensions of animated forms. Our work is grounded in the NeuroPuppetry Method™, developed by Andrea Markovits in collaboration with Polo Fernández, a neuro-informed approach that integrates body, emotion, and materiality through the animation of puppets and objects.

Since 2017, we have developed a pioneering academic program exploring the relationship between somatic memory, nervous system regulation, and creative processes. More than 500 students have participated in our trainings through online programs in English and Spanish, as well as in-person experiences in Barcelona.

Our approach draws from polyvagal theory, enactive cognition, and relational thinking. We work with processes that engage trauma, shame, memory, and resilience through sensitive, symbolic, and body-based practices.

Method

NeuroPuppetry Method™ invites body, perception, gesture, and materiality into active dialogue so that expression emerges through action itself.

Fields of inquiry

Polyvagal theory, enactive cognition, relational thinking, somatic memory, emotional regulation, and creative therapeutic processes shape the work.

Learning formats

Diplomas, annual programs, themed workshops, and intensive encounters create sustained spaces for integration, reflection, and embodied practice.

Courses and Programs

Six current pathways into the school.

Each program extends the school’s research into therapeutic animated forms, whether through an intensive, an annual journey, or focused workshops.
